Hi! I’m Cristal, the content creator behind Cristal Pasea.
I’m an early millennial originally from Panama (hablo español) but fell in love with Florida during my time participating in a cultural exchange program as an Au Pair; I was fortunate to relocate in 2014 after winning the Green Card Lottery.
I’m an Accountant by profession with experience working for multinational companies mainly in the Financial Services industry. When I’m not navigating through numbers I’m most likely planning my next trip or working on the Travel Blog.
My passion for traveling has been a constant in my life: from exploring locally with friends, traveling to discover family roots, corporate travel, international exchange programs, solo traveling. More than 20 years of personal experience creating my own adventures and I don’t plan to stop any time soon! It has naturally become a Lifestyle.
I love slow travel and I want to experience mostly everything. From cities to nature, food, art, people, cultures, I want to see it all!
I have been to 17 countries in 2 continents and visited 26 US states so far. I’ve gained so much knowledge along the way. I’m more than happy to share all I know about the Destinations I have been.
My goal is to inspire you to go out and see the world regardless of your nationality, profession or gender. I’m a latina from a middle class family, working in a profession most people will think is boring and I do travel solo as a female. If I can do it, you can do it too!
I believe traveling is not just for the most fortunate or wealthy people. I believe we all can experience the beauty of the world in many different ways and there are options out there for everybody to make it possible.
I grew up with the limiting believe that traveling is only for the rich people but I have proved that wrong and I show you here how.
I share in the blog my journey and adventures around the globe: budget trips, solo travel destinations, weekend getaways to stretch out that PTO and more.
I love traveling because is the only investment that will last a lifetime. Exploring other places and cultures will open up your mind in so many ways, you will never be the same.
